Summary: | The research responds to the need for a new vision of curriculum management in the process of socio community formation of the university students, with the aim of contributing to overcome shortcomings in the community service they perform in Venezuela, which limits their training as a mutual transformational process to social development. This research, promotes and develops the critical and constructive reflection on concepts, principles and mechanisms that characterize the process of socio community training as a perspective that can undertake the development of community service of Venezuelan higher education students, once established by the "law of community service for the students of higher education" (2005) finally revealing the challenges that it poses to the guidance and management of the curriculum in the training of professionals of all races. Address the various elements which serve as basis for the process of socio-community training of the University student, with emphasis on its epistemological aspects that serve as support to the main results of the research. The study has allowed revealing the need for curriculum management supported from the epistemological and axiological essence of University social responsibility for the process of training partner community of the College student in relation to the diversity of the professional context. The current inconsistencies do not ensure a sufficient level of systematization in the process of socio community formation and curricular management from the relationship: University - University social responsibility - community and their integration with the University management.
