Further, the results of this analysis are compared with those obtained in 2000. Findings include the following: 1) the decrease in the number of young people living in households with crossborder workers and the increase of those born in the USA in the last decade; 2) the persistent positive association between being born in the USA and high school or university enrollment in 2010, in contrast to the negative association between these post-basic education variables and recent immigration from the USA; and 3) a null relationship between having crossborder workers at home and school enrollment at the post-basic level.http://ref.uabc.mx/ojs/index.php/ref/article/view/521educación, jóvenes, ciudadanía americana, empleo transfronterizo.
