Summary:The African continent today takes into consideration a cultural movement which can be called African Hispanism. Born with the beginning of the post-colonial era, this African Hispanism has witnessed a progressive setting up in African countries thanks to the impetus of teachers of the Spanish language. Today that action benefits from a notorious cultural life as observed trough Spanish users of that language on the one hand; on the other hand the birth of a very promising African Spanish literature. Yet some future challenges are to come for a real fruitful future of that cultural movement. Key words: Spanish language; Africa intercultural exchanges.
