Summary:The development of scientific concepts teaching strategies inspirited in the philosophy of science has been object of various studies in Science Education. Based on some of these studies, this research structures a physics teaching strategy proposal which includes a Didactical Rational Reconstruction (DRR) with a implicit philosophical view inspired in the Lakatos' epistemology and rational reconstruction. The inclusion of the DRR as a specific step of a Lakatosian teaching strategy has the intention to exemplify rational situations comparing rival theories and, with that, preparing the student for further debates between alternative and scientific rival theories in order to help the learning of the last ones.
