Description
Summary:This article is part of the reflection on the use of literary texts in textbooks of the middle cycle. This work aims to reflect on some possible ways to better approach the literary texts in FLE classroom today. The observations made focus on, on the one hand, the listed literary texts and the observation of the proposed activities for the educational exploitation of literary texts, on the other hand. The results show that the literature is present in the manuals of the medium, where it is treated as a support for the assimilation of linguistic contents. That said, there is concern about the learning objectives allocated to this pedagogical use of the literature. Our proposal holds strategies of the intercultural and anthropological approach that considers the literary text as a bridge in the relationship with others. It is based on a didactic of literature which does not aim to reduce the literary text to a socio-historical representation and to make of it a witness of a historical evolution of the mentalities, but rather to affirm human evolution as a totality and a whole.
