Summary: | In the current context of growing tourist flows, the theme of cultural tourism is an ever important. Some experts believe that the "identity tourism" -as it is sometimes called-, will attract renewed interest at the expense of traditional seaside tourism. However, vision quantitativist generally outweighs the approach qualitative.Dans the same time, there is a reconciliation that occurs between tourism and cultural heritage (especially in recent years with an "intangible heritage").Our interest in this article is to deconstruct a vision, made of "platitudes" where this field of research is then emptied of any problem. Our goal is to reflect critically on what is and what is meant by cultural tourism, the importance given to cultural tourism as the levels of transnationalism, focusing on the problematic relationship between wealth and the notion of authenticity, a quality seen as indisputable prerequisite in defining both the tourism and cultural heritage. This problematization is conducted through analysis of empirical situations varied and complex in Latin America. |
