The type of tourism that is aimed to respond to this issue is Social Tourism, which arises as a contribution for certain vulnerable groups to achieve their right to have a holiday. In this sense, this study intends to analyze social tourism policies, driven by South American governments, designed to offer vacations to those disadvantaged groups.
