presente trabalho teve por objetivo investigar a o surgimento de um produto de nutri&ccedil;&atilde;o animal denominado &ldquo;amir&eacute;ia&rdquo;, desde a pesquisa acad&ecirc;mica e difus&atilde;o das descobertas, at&eacute; a sua incorpora&ccedil;&atilde;o pelo mercado. Busca-se apresentar as fases que envolvem a trajet&oacute;ria de uma inova&ccedil;&atilde;o tecnol&oacute;gica, partindo do conhecimento b&aacute;sico, passando pelas muitas realimenta&ccedil;&otilde;es tem&aacute;ticas relacionadas ao produto estudado e que foram orientadoras de pesquisas sucessivas, b&aacute;sicas e tecnol&oacute;gicas, durante aproximadamente tr&ecirc;s d&eacute;cadas at&eacute; chegar ao produto final. Por meio do estudo &eacute; poss&iacute;vel delimitar as diversas etapas bem como as oportunidades que decorreram do estreitamento de relacionamento entre os p&oacute;los: Universidade - Empresa, pesquisa b&aacute;sica - pesquisa tecnol&oacute;gica e, pesquisador - empres&aacute;rio. The study present the stages involved at the trajectory of this technological innovation, from basic knowledge, passing to many thematic feedback related to the product and many others researches, both basic and technological, that was developed about three decades until to be possible to achieve the final product.<span>&nbsp; </span>Through the study is possible to define the various stages as well the opportunities that appeared from the closer relationship between the spheres: University - Company, basic research - technology research, and researcher - entrepreneur.
