Experiment results showed that under the operating conditions with temperature of 30 °C, 1:7 (w/w) IL: oil, reaction time of 20 min, and settling time of 2 h, the ionic liquid exhibited good denitrogenation performance achieving 86.27 % basic N-extraction efficiency and the yield of refined diesel oil can reach more than 90 %.
