When the Exodos is not the End: The Closing Song of Aeschylus’ <i>Suppliants</i>
<p>Dividing the song into a dialogue between two Danaid hemichoruses can be justified on dramatic grounds, and the resulting ambivalence hints at issues that would be addressed in the remainder of the trilogy.</p>
