Description
Summary:The standard Eurobarometer76 was established in 1973. Each survey consists of approximately 1000 face-toface interviews per country and assesses the following major problems: health care, economy, human rights and policy, social problems. The questions used in our study are based on health care, insurance system, satisfaction and optimism about personal life and the future. Our article aims at evaluating the practical usefulness of this form, by applying it to a group of subjects that provide answers pertaining to their satisfaction regarding life quality and the health system. We noticed the vast majority of subjects that is 52.8% do not hope for a positive change in the following 5 years with regard to life quality improvement, whereas for 51.8 % of them, the situation worsened as compared to the last 5 years. The distribution of the degree of satisfaction depending on age and level of studies, demonstrates that the most dissatisfied subjects are the ones aged from 18 to 34, followed by the ones aged from 45 to 60, as well as by subjects who graduated from institutions of higher education.
