Description
Summary:The objective in this study was to investigate drug consumption among students of a private school in the city of São Paulo. For all, a close anonymous self-administered questionnaire was held to collect sociodemographic data and identify the pattern of abusive use of drugs. There were 46,2% male participants and 53,8% females, aged 11-21 years. The largest consumption indexes were seen for alcohol (78,8%) and tobacco (65,8%). Most used drugs were solvents (32,2%) and marijuana (30,5%). The drug use seen in the study was similar to that described in CEBRID (Brazilian Data Institute on Psychoactive Drugs) studies.
