According to this point, the aim of this article is to answer the question that despite the fact that there are universities wide efforts for training theory building method and problem solving" why has the way of theory building particularly in the field of social sciences been blocked?" For this purpose, three groups of professors' views, Management, Psychology and Political Science were evaluated and findings indicate that there are structural, functional, motivational, and cultural communities barriers in the process of theory building in the social sciences. This article also shows that lack of attention to the theory building natural processing with emphasis on identifying and focusing on solving the problem, despite the importance of structural barriers and cultural functions, is one of the main reasons of theory building recession in the area of Social Sciences.
