Summary:The contribution exposes the problem of the thesis of a so-called “Technologydeficit” in paedagogy. This position formulated by Niklas Luhmann and Eberhard Schorr in 1979 has exerted a lasting influence on the German paedagogy to this day. With regard to arguments gained both within the system theory and outside of it, both authors grapple with the allegation of technology deficit proactively. They plead for a self-confident criticism on the the critique presented bei Mr. Luhmann and Mr. Schorr.
