This situation caused dispersion of the efforts that, in any case, were extensive. The study of the evolution of earth sciences and the recovery and study of the accumulated data in such circumstances requires relying heavily on manuscript information. The present study deals with the problems and possibilities of this situation, shows some study cases and extracts some conclusions of general interest from them.</strong></p> <br />http://www.annalsofgeophysics.eu/index.php/annals/article/view/4616archivesCataloniascientific societiesEduard Fontserè
