The concept of research utilized was educational action research, in an emancipatory way, combined with an ethnographic approach. The data constituted written reports in a “field-diary”, audio-recording transcriptions and written works by graduation students, which were then analyzed according to a route and negotiation analysis. This paper makes explicit the following aspects of negotiation analysis: approach, dimensions, indicators, elements (epistemological and sociological) and phases.
