On supervision and control: an exercise regarding media ratings

This article describes the current research taking place, originating from studies de- <span> </span>veloped by the endowment of Productivity in Researched, granted by CNPq, and by <span> </span>the Projeto Temático, with support from FAPESP, from which I am one of the main <span> </span>researchers. Since its inception being focused on mechanisms of censorship, nowadays <span> </span>we observe the supervision of cultural products, such as the one exercised by the <span> </span>Ministry of Justice’s Rating Classifcation or in cases that come from private eforts, <span> </span>implying an intervention on the free fow of information. We bring here some of our <span> </span>fndings, fruit of a long research, with which we can demonstrate the displacements <span> </span>and rearrangements of words and discourse that sustain processes of control<span> </span>
