Description
Summary:The paper discusses the impact of technological progress on social life. It is shown that without modern technologies society loses the future, is not competitive in a rapidly developing world, and cannot provide a high quality of life for people. It is noted that the modern idea of culture contains an increasing share of the skills of people who have mastered the technology. This component of a common culture can be called a technological culture. The degree of development of market mechanisms by the society, the practice of scientific research, participation in the organization of state institutions and much more are considered in particular. The influence of this component on the economic state of society and, ultimately, on the quality of life of people is discussed.
