Summary:The research is to find out the English teachers’ enthusiasm strategies and to analyze whether the teachers’ strategies being maximally, minimally, or do not impact on their enthusiasm when teaching. The subject of this research is three English teachers at SMPIT Ukhuwah Banjarmasin academic year 2018/2019. The object of this research is to analyze the strategies that used by English teachers in increasing their enthusiasm when teaching. In collecting the data , the researcher uses some techniques such as observation and interview. Data analysis technique in this research is divided into three phases: verification or drawing, editing, and conclusion. Then, all the data are analyzed descriptively and qualititatively. The result showed that the English teacher at SMPIT Ukhuwah have six practical strategies that commonly used by English teacher, those are preparing the additional English lesson material, designing the interesting and different activities, controlling the self emotional, giving achievement/reward, remotivating theirself when down/unexcited in teaching, and telling humor when teaching. It is also found that the English teacher have the varying level of enthusiasm measurement in every teachers and generally being maximally impact on their enthusiasm in teaching.
