Summary: | The article discusses the role and importance of nickel-copper coatings and their applications. The main topic of the article are multilayer copper-nickel coatings of type 5*(Cu/Ni) applied with a brush plating method, which is a variant of galvanic application. The aim of the conducted research was to check the possibility of the brush plating method in the production of the mentioned coatings. Basic research was carried out: coating thickness measurements, metallographic and microhardness. The results obtained were referred to the results obtained for monolayer Ni and Cu coatings.
