| Summary: | This study intends to present, through some lexical items, a brief discussion on the struggle for social and cultural survival of the black slaves from the “Arraỹal de Bomfim de Goỹaz”, in the seven hundreds, aiming to sign their submission to Catholic belief as a form of social, cultural and also religious resistance in slavery period. For this study, we used the semidiplomatic issue of the book from the community “Arraỹal de Bomfim de Goỹaz”, from a selection of its lexical inventory and bibliographical discussions of slave history in colonial Brazil, especially in Goiás Capitany, and the literature review of the lexical theory for the analysis of the dataclipping on screen. |
