Summary: | The article is dedicated to a work by the renowned composer V. Ciolac, written in 2004 for clarinet, transposed recently for violin and piano and premiered by the author of the article in the summer of the year 2019. The musical-structural analyses, joint with performing recommendations would be useful both for future
musicologist researches and for violinists. The author develops the idea of combining, synthesizing, in the interpretative approach of the creations inspired by Romanian folklore, the abilities and techniques of academic interpretation with those specific to the popular violinist art. He highlighted both the conceptual treatment of folklore by the composer and the appropriate performing approach, for conveying correctly the palette of images which inspired the composer.
