Summary: | The country's continental size and lack of specific training for Religious Education, especially since the amendment of Article 33 of the Law of Directives and Bases of National Education, brought the challenge of a process trainer. To raise the profile of courses in Religious Education and its various designs, was made a mapping from documents provided by institutions through the Internet from November 2008 to February 2009. Data show that is being generated a Program Teacher Training Exercise concerned about the quality of teaching and their learning environments. The courses surveyed suggest teaching activities that revolve around methodologies and involving the use of information technology and communication, the exposure of content through meetings and asynchronous. The composition of the subjects the teacher provides a global knowledge about the major religions that exist in Brazil, but stressed that the Religious Education does not cover the study of religions and not intended as a complement philosophical school. Therefore it is necessary to continue taking up the practice and theory to reflect on the teaching. |
