Description
Summary:The article is devoted to the Catholic model of Evangelization in the big city. The author shows that the usual parish model is in crisis being a result of the rapid urbanization and migration of the population. In the new conditions, the Christian community is positioning itself not geographically as a district center, but socially as an organ of social cohesion that gives a Christian life guidance in a polycentric metropolis. The Catholic model of Evangelization is from now on an inculturation, a Christian witness in various, is thus primarily urban, cultural communities more likely than a propaganda of faith. At the same time, Catholic theologians emphasize the human and Christian dimension of the modern city.
