This paper discusses the application of OpenLayers in ocean information monitoring based on OpenLayers. Firstly, The paper gives a basic overview of OpenLayers, then summarizes its related research, constructs the system framework for ocean information monitoring system and discusses the related key technologies. Finally, it studies the application of ocean information monitoring.
