Description
Summary:Piriformis syndrome (PS) is a syndrome consisting of symptoms that occur due to compression of the sciatic nerve at the level of the piriformis muscle (PM). The most commonly reported complaints (cardinal features) are radiation to the ipsilateral tight, buttock pain, and reproduction of pain on prolonged sitting. In this study, we report a 64 years old female case presented with peroneal neuropathy symptoms without gluteal pain and sciatica and treated using ultrasound-guided PM injection successfully.
