First of all, the author deliberated the issue of social conflicts, ethnic clashes and influence of ethnic identity on social conflicts from theoretic point of view. So, the author from historic aspect describes the genesis of conflicts in Kosovo and Metohia. Out of the reviews of competitive histories, it is to be appeared that Serbian and Albanian historians, among all, had the task to reinforce national identity. The task of the author was not in the presentation of the real, objective truth, but the one of the two competitive/opposite versions on the past of Kosovo and Metohia. The author also gets the impression the Kosovo issue has not been closed/finished yet by the unilateral proclamation of the independence of the Republic of Kosovo. This one is appeared to be turned into another phase of development, and social conflicts no matter whether they are intensive or not, they are not present at all in arm sense, but are present in everyday life in other social spheres. Such state imposes an additional obligation to the researcher of social conflicts to respect scientific principles (objectivity, neutrality, and preciseness), bearing in mind the fact that different, frequently pseudo historic interpretations of conflicts may mislead the track in the cognitive process and explanations of the concrete social conflicts. .https://scindeks-clanci.ceon.rs/data/pdf/0353-9008/2010/0353-90081028323A.pdf
