Description
Summary:The article investigates the perceptions orphaned teenagers holdabout the family and the role and responsibilities of spouses and parents in the family. It was found that orphans’ presentation about the role of spouses and parents are contradictory, distorted, not optimistic and insufficiently differentiated. Teenagers do not see the need for children to discuss their problems with their parents, but they believe that the main function of parents is to educate children. In their opinion, it is the children who unite and strengthen the family, but most teens would like to have one child, or do not plan to have children at all. According to the teenagers, a spouse does not dominate in the relationship, seeking compromise, but at the same orphans not expect full feedback, warmth, kindness and support from a spouse.
