Summary:The aim of this study was to explore if students were reached by HIV/AIDS Communication, Information, and Education (CIE) strategic intervention. Three hundred students, 150 males and 150 females, from IKIP Ujung Pandang were purposively selected as respondents. A questionnaire was given to collect data. The study revealed that students were reached by the HIV/AIDS messages. The concern and awareness of students for HIV/AIDS were positive and high although their knowledge was relatively low. Religious and moral state played significant roles in affecting students' behavior toward HIV/AIDS. Most respondents believed that HIV/AIDS education programs directed to the university campuses are recommended
