Description
Summary:The article presents the analysis of prediction structure of frustration states occurrence experienced by schoolchildren and the importance of this phenomenon of anxiety in this structure, which is considered in the work as a potential determinant of frustration states. It is noted in the article that for the moment the issue has an obvious social background. It is clearly evident within certain social groups, in particular schoolchildren who are the most vulnerable to the negative impact of constant changes occurring in various social establishments and institutions. The results of experimental study of the level of anxiety and its interrelation with frustration reactions of pupils of different age groups (juniors, teenagers, and young adults) are presented. On the basis of quantitative and qualitative analysis of the content of school anxiety test scales, a qualitative variety of anxiety states and fears experienced by the pupils of different age groups has been noted. The differences in the degree of anxiety experienced by the pupils with different profiles of frustration reactions have been analyzed. It has been found that the level of anxiety in the group of pupils with the predominance of nonconstructive reactions to frustration situations is much higher than that of the pupils with the predominance of constructive forms of frustration reaction. The analysis of correlation relations between frustration and anxiety scales has been presented. It demonstrates positive correlations between the most non-constructive combination of frustration reactions of pupils (extrapunitive and self-defense) and the anxiety test scales as social stress, general school anxiety, fear of knowledge examination and fear of selfexpression. The distribution of data in accordance with the factor analysis of loads in the profiles of pupils of different age groups (juniors, teenagers, and young adults) has been analyzed.
