Summary: | The objective of the article is to analyze the experiences and results of the project implementation “Plant a tree, adopt this idea!” developed at the Municipal School Adalgisa Mendonça Lopes in Anajatuba-MA. Based on the phenomenological-qualitative method, using as methodological procedures: the bibliographic survey; presentation of a lecture on the preservation and conservation of the environment, environmental education and perception and and tree day; application of a questionnaire on the theme of the lecture and drawings made by the students. The students reported that deforestation is the main environmental problem of the municipality and consider that the school is the main way to acquire knowledge about environmental issues. Through the drawings, it was evident the students' concern with the preservation and conservation of the trees for the local environment, showed bonds of affection and belonging. |
