| Summary: | The article is devoted to the problems and opportunities of scientific, in particular theoretical and empirical sociological analysis of mental phenomena. The attention is focused on the specifics of sociological interpretation of the concept of «mentality» / «mentality» is the author's conceptualization of mental structures. Some methodological approaches and experience of empirical studies of the phenomenon of mentality in the European and the domestic sociology is analyzed. It was formulated conclusion about the actualization of the sociological study of this multi-dimensional phenomenon, as the mentality in the context of transformation of socio-cultural contemporary Ukrainian society. |
