Next, the theoretical questions on spatial thinking are explored.As an empirical exercise of the study,we analyzed how landscapes are presented in practical activities in three basic education Geography textbooks from three countries (Portugal, France and the UK) and characterize them by their level of capacity to develop spatial thinking, comparing the results.
