Summary:This article examines the forms and ways of reception of the personality of the American poet and novelist George Sterling in the artistic consciousness of the famous writer Jack London. The analysis of the nature of the creative dialogue between writers was carried out on the material the most representative London’s works and his epistolary heritage. In the article, the attention is paid to the peculiarities of autobiographical discourse, the intertextual relation in the texts. The study opens up new aspects in studying the creative laboratory of a famous American writer.
