Therefore, in the article, based on the experience of the department of military training of Sumy State University, the main innovative directions of the use of information technologies in the training of military specialists are given (for example, artillery specialists). In particular, this article is devoted to the creation of multimedia virtual simulators (simulators), the simulation of educational games, the development of an automated knowledge assessment system and the creation of information and distance learning equipment.
