Surveys made with 180 woman forest engineers working in the public sector constituted the main material of the study. Mann-Whitney U and Kruskal-Wallis-H tests were used to analyze whether the answers given by women differ in terms of some socio-demographic and working life characteristics. Factors affecting job satisfaction were determined by factor analysis. According to the results of the study, factors affecting job satisfaction of women; participation and dignity in management, technical and managerial competence of managers, wages, working conditions and appreciation, and workplace friendship. To increase job satisfaction, women's level of participation in governance should be increased. In addition, the development of the award-encouragement system in the context of job appreciation may increase job satisfaction.
