Summary:<p><em>Several α-(3-flavonyloxy)-ω-bromoalkanes (<strong>1</strong>) on treatment with substituted phenols, anilines, thiophenols and 2-aminopyridine resulted novel potentially bioactive 3-ω-substituted phenoxy (<strong>3a-t</strong>), anilino (<strong>4a-h</strong>), thiophenoxy (<strong>5a-d</strong>) and 2-pyridylamino (<strong>7a-c</strong>) alkoxy flavones. The structures of the products have been elucidated by analytical and spectral data.</em></p>
