Summary:The development of electronic games is constantly expanding, encouraging innovation and improvements in the three-dimensional graphics, audio and realism for the immersion of users in the virtual world. Application of Augmented Reality (AR) in games has actively contributed to this process. The increased use of RA in the world market is evident, since companies such as Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft; for example, already offer on their consoles Wii, PS3 and Xbox, respectively, interactivity occurs through the application of this technology. This work explores the application of Virtual and Augmented Reality to reviving and valuing popular games. For this purpose, ARGame, an electronic version of the old and popular tic-tac-toe game, was developed.
