Description
Summary:
In this work, we aim to explore the stylistic manipulation of textual and discursive resources by the rapper Mano Brown, in an interview within television program Roda Viva, in 2007. We analyzed textual-discursive resources that promote, at the same time, not only mitigation of rapper’s discursive style, which is characterized by the display of an instance deeply committed to an internal (inside) perspective about Brazilian periphery, but also direct exposure of conflicts between his perspective and the interlocutors’ perspectives on Brazilian periphery by the strategic use of textual resources that mark impoliteness.
