The radiological investigation allows to confirm diagnosis, but the indication must always be correlated with clinical findings to not perform unnecessary diagnostic procedures. Management of LBP can involve many specialists – neurosurgeon, orthopedist, physiatrist, physiotherapist – everyone with different knowledge and experience because very often the cause is multifactorial.
