According to the presented method it is possible to determine the necessary number of people saving means, judging by technical characteristics of these devices and the dangerous ire factors coming time.The probability calculating procedure of an event occurrence to prevent the death of people when using rescue equipment and the effect of this probability on the individual ire risk calculated value are presented.
