Description
Summary:This is a social applied research focused on understanding the development of Collaborative Consumption in Brazil. The objective of this paper is to detail the evolution of Redistribution Markets initiatives to uncover the properties, attributes and practices of its trajectory. To do so, a descriptive and exploratory analysis was performed based on a multiple case study of three Brazilian platforms. The results showed that platforms have reproduced the international experiences regarding their properties, attributes and practices without proper adaptation to the Brazilian context. Evidence also revealed three phases faced by Redistribution Markets business in Brazil, underlining issues and opportunities for further research.
