Summary: | This article reports a curricular training experience developed by the Center of Psychological Services at Faculdades Integradas de Taquara (Faccat - Brazil). Two undergraduate students developed this project in a school localized in a vulnerable neighboorhood using the Community Social Psychology approach. The intervention project, named Projeto EBA - Encontros de Bate-Papo com Adolescentes, has the following goals: (a) build habits that prevent the use of drugs, (b) teach about STDs and AIDS; and (c) improve positive aspects in the participants' lives. Six meetings with 16 teenagers were conducted, in which the themes developed were: stereotypes, drugs, sexuality and self-esteem. The teenagers showed almost no knowledge about drugs and STDs. The participation in EBA indicates positive changes in their relationships, which became noticeable during group interactions.
