A reconstruction of the numerous encounters between teacher and pupil, partially or entirely devoted to revising the Sinfonietta, will allow the extent to which Falla was involved in the creative process of the work to be determined. This is followed by a comparative analysis, providing some illustrative examples of Halffter’s reuse of material and borrowing of Falla’s “compositional strategies” as the clearest evidence of this influence, which paradoxically, would result in the creation of the young composer’s unique style.
http://147.96.1.34/index.php/CMIB/article/view/61195
