Description
Summary:The purpose of this study is to argue theoretically why professionals in psychology and administration are in charge of managing human resources in the organizations. This study, aside from presenting the research being done in HR, has an approach from the beginning of both disciplines, management and psychology, allowing us to see their evolution on the subject of Human Resources. Additionally, this paper also enables us to reason why an organization may choose one or another professional. / The history of the concept in the Colombian context is explored along with the events that happened during this evolution. This monograph hopes to provide HR practitioners with tools so that when selecting one or another professional they do not have inappropriate expectations regarding performance and knowledge. For these reasons and to explore the state of the art of management and psychology we find that these professionals have different tools when making any process in an organization.
