In the study, phenomenological research pattern, which is one of the qualitative research methods was used. A semi-structured interview form was used to collect the data from twenty-five teachers who worked as science teachers in seven different schools in the city center of Erzurum in the first semester of 2019-2020 academic year. According to the research data, science teachers stated that out of school learning environments would provide the most permanent learning as an advantage, while disadvantage was that there were reasons such as taking time and economic reasons. They stated that, in terms of applicability of out-of-school learning environments, good planning should be made for teachers, motivation for students, fun, trip observation, and entertaining environments. They also stated that appropriate environmental conditions and out-of-school environments should be available. The teachers, who stated that the out-of-school learning environments should be included in the new education process, emphasized that especially the financial conditions should be improved; appropriate planning should be made and all students should be involved.https://dergipark.org.tr/en/pub/ueader/issue/59308/735367?publisher=http-egitim-kilis-edu-tr-cv-durmu-c5-9e-burak-pdfout-of-school learning environmentsscience teachersteachers' viewsokul dışı öğrenme ortamlarıfen eğitimiöğretmen görüşleri
