Description
Summary:This article arises from research understood under the historic method and its route as groundwork to dare to display the evolution and development reached by the normal schools during the first half of the 20th Century in the educational cultural and socio-political context of the region of Caldas and consequently of the country. In it, I show the history of the teachers formed for the teaching in primary school and the history of the normal institutions created to achieve that purpose. Likewise, I use this article as an excuse to explain the circumstances and conditions which relate the development of the teaching with the mission commended to its actors who have avoided the difficulties of every relevant moment according to the landmarks of the time extended along its history. In consequence, I show a critical position based on the research foundations of the history to recognize its observable development in the periods of visibility and estrangement delimited by the state, the society and the church.
