Summary:The paper analyzes the macroeconomic effects arising at the regional and national level as a result of the implementation of measures for heat recovery in some regions of the Russian Federation. Both national and regional reaction on the heat recovery are simulated using multi-regional I-O model of vector optimization with a detailed representation of the energy sector (OMMM-TEK). The role and the structure of the key indicator of efficiency - increase energy resources saving are considered in detail.
