Description
Summary:This work is a reflection on the movement of the construction of meaning. How the senses emerge and mean in a dynamic that involves: the place occupied by indigenous women in the mainstream media and official spaces; the functioning of discursive memory in the constitution of “indigenous women” subject and the emergence of meanings in acts of resistance. The proposal is based, centrally, on the assumptions of Orlandi (2003), (2013), (2015); Pêcheux (1991); Foucault (2012); Lima (2006) and Bourdieu (1992), (1996). It is concluded that the silencing of the voice of the “indigenous woman” subject in the large media context produces meanings that, in addition to signifying within the moving limits of silence and language, impose a resistance with strong potential to move and redirect the struggles of these women being able to reframe standards of sociability, interaction, and engagement.
