Centrality in Senador Canedo (GO): The case of Jardim das Oliveiras neighborhood

This study aims to check the formation and existence of centrality in the Jardim das Oliveiras neighborhood in the city of Senador Canedo (GO). Has been objectified altogether characterize the formation of this sub-center in accordance with the internal arrangement of city space, as well as the activities in the neighborhood, such as trade and services and uses exercised by the neighborhood population. Accordingly, we sought through interviews with traders, users and neighborhood residents, characterize two avenues as centralizing of commercial and service activities in the region, avenues Senador Canedo and Macaúbas. In this way, it was possible to identify the existing centrality in the neighborhood and the concentration of services and trades on the avenues mentioned.
